Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Practice Nurse to join our team at The Grange Medical Centre. We are a busy practice with over 12000 patients located near the centre of Nuneaton, with good links to the bus and train station.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for an experienced Practice Nurse to provide 20 hours per week. They will:
- Provide medical care to our patients which includes treatment, preventative care, screening and education for patients.
- Work within the Nursing team on some administrative duties.
- Maintain safe and effective levels of practice and ensure training is up to date.
- Adhere to current practice policy's and guidelines.
The current days of work which are available are:
- Monday all day
- Tuesday all day
- Thursday afternoon
Start and end times can be flexible as long as meets with the needs and demands of the service.
About us
We have a well established clinical team which is led by 4 GP Partners and also includes:
- 4 Salaried GP's (total 8 GP's)
- 3 Practice Nurses
- 1 HCA
- A range of ARRS role including; a Physicians Associate, 4 Clinical Pharmacists, 2 Mental Health Workers, 2 First Contact Physiotherapists, Social Prescribers, Care Coordinators and Health and Wellbeing coaches.
These are supported by our Admin and Reception teams.
Our clinical teams get a daily 15 minute coffee catch up in addition to any breaks.
There is free parking on site.
