Job summary

Responsible for undertaking a wide range of Data Coordination duties in support of the practice clinical and administration teams.

Duties can include but are not limited to: System One searches, Quality & Outcomes Framework (QOF) achievement, read coding information from patients clinical records, correspondence from Service Providers and other sources on the practice clinical system, always adhering to policy and procedures.

Main duties of the job

Provide administrative support to members of the primary health care team in the following areas ensuring appropriate practice records are kept up to date and the relevant clinical data entered

Distribution of Lab electronic lab results,Read Code relevant information from patients clinical records, hospital correspondence and other sources into the practice computer system, working strictly in accordance with the practice notes summarising and read code protocols.

Assist with the processing of all new registrations, Update for all patient change of registration status as notified, assist with the transfer of patient removals.

Process patient records for RIPs/removals and coordinate with external agencies if required.Compile and distribute patient records for solicitor and subject access requests.

Assist in the achievement of the Quality and Outcomes Framework and enhanced service targets, assist patient recall systems.

To ensure the efficient running of the practice computer system, carrying out searches, audits and recalls. Troubleshoot IT issues.

Report faults to software supplier and track progress.

Sort and distribute the daily clinical and non-clinical post

Ensure medical records requested for return to PCSE are retrieved and dealt with.Assist with distribution of emails

Support and guide members of staff in the use of IT

Developing the practice IT function to meet current and future challenges

Any ad-hoc tasks as requested by the practice.

Data Coordinator

We are a friendly, supportive GP practice in Kinson, Bournemouth and we have a part-time vacancy for a hardworking and reliable individual as a data coordinator.

The vacancy is for 20 hours per week working Monday to Friday. Some flexibility to cover sickness and holidays would be desirable.

The main remit of this role will be coding, summarising, and assisting with workflow optimisation.

The successful candidate will need to meet vetting requirements and satisfy pre employment checks.
