Job summary

We are looking for an Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our large, multi-disciplinary clinical team. This is a permanent part-time post (27 hours per week). You will support our 4 partner, 8 GP practice working alongside advanced paramedic practitioners, practice nurses, trainee nursing associates and health care assistants as well as physiotherapists and pharmacists to provide the best care possible to our 15000+ patients.

Main duties of the job

  • Manage acute illness and minor ailments for all ages.
  • High level of clinical skills
  • See and treat patients in the surgery and in their own home
  • Support other staff in their development
  • Provide clinical support to GPs
  • Order appropriate investigations
  • Refer to secondary care where appropriate

About us

St. Andrew's is a large, extremely busy practice of 15200 patients. We have two sites, the larger one is a purpose built surgery built in 2012 and the smaller premises is a five minute walk away in the town centre.

Although we are a large team it is an exceptionally friendly place to work and you will find that you receive a lot of support from your colleagues
