Job summary

We are looking for three dynamic team members to help us pilot a new and innovative system of assisting local residents to take up Immunisations and Vaccinations. As Call and Recall Immunisations Administrators, you will work as part of a team across 12 GP Practices in the East of Tower Hamlets. You will be be employed by the Poplar & Limehouse Health and Wellbeing Network. Each person will based in and responsible to, one of three PCNs in the East of Tower Hamlets.

This role might be an ideal Secondment for someone wanting to explore their potential and just change-things-up a bit!

Overall purpose of the post:

To support the GP Practices in increasing uptake of all Immunisations.

As a Recall Administrator you will need to be an effective and efficient communicator to be able to undertake and priorities a variety of administrative duties.

The post-holder occupies a particular position of responsibility and trust, as they have access to sensitive patient information. The post-holder should have excellent organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a team and on their own initiative.

Main duties of the job

  • Recall and book patients that are due for a particular vaccination i.e. MMR, Flu, Covid-19 etc.
  • Carrying out searches on EMIS to identify eligible patients.
  • Support maximal achievement of QOF, LES KPIs, and national vaccination campaigns.
  • Set up and run clinical reports and searches.
  • Ensure accurate reporting.
  • Analyse data for quality purposes.
  • Work closely with Practices to improve immunisation uptake.
  • Liaise with ICB during covid campaigns.
  • Liaise with necessary teams to add clinics and ensure patients identified and recalled in a timely manner.

Check accurate coding of patient notes and amend under the direction of the lead clinicians.

Maintain an up-to-date awareness of current policies

Undertake additional duties where appropriate as requested by Line Manager.

Undertake on-going personal development through participation in appraisal and supervision.

f. Work flexibly as required including out of core hours, agreeing time off in lieu (TOIL) in advance with the Line Manager
