Job summary
We are a friendly, well organised, PMS Practice
with high QOF scores and a good CQC rating. The Practice has 5 Partners and 8
Salaried GPs along with Nurses, a Health and Wellbeing practitioners, a
physician associate, 2 Clinical pharmacists and a Social Prescriber. We are
part of our local central Haringey PCN and we provide care for over 19,000
patents and use EMIS Web, EPS and Docman 10.
Due to a steady expansion in our practice
population, we are seeking a salaried GP to work up to 5 sessions per week. We
are looking for an equally enthusiastic and proactive individual to join our
strong clinical team to help use deliver the highest standards of care for our
patients. WE welcome specialist interests and actively support career and
leadership development.
Main duties of the job
The role of up to 5 sessions per week usually
consists of a mix of 15 minute face to face and 10 minute telephone
consultations/e-consultations. The current rota is developed so that one GP is
on duty each morning and afternoon and is able to provide same day support to
the primary care team. Remaining GPs have routine sessions made up of telephone
or face to face consultations. Patients are given a choice of selecting face to
face or telephone at the time that they book their appointment.
About us
Since December 2020, we have been the designated
Covid Vaccination HUB for Haringey residents and together with the whole
practice team and local volunteers, we have delivered over 100,000 Covid
vaccinations so far. Our partners have leadership positions within the Haringey
Federation, NCL CCG and Referral Management Service.
All clinicians are supported to develop special
interests. We currently have specialists GP with specialist interest clinics in
Dermatology, Joint Injections, Diabetes, Cryotherapy and LARC fittings.
We are an established training practice with 4 5 experienced Trainers
taking foundation year 2 doctors, GP trainees UCL medical students. Together we
bring our experiences from outside the practice to innovate the high standards
of care we provide.
Salaried GPs are encouraged to attend protected
learning time including our weekly clinical meetings and our fortnightly
breakfast meetings which include safeguarding, palliative care, platform which
clinicians discuss patients concerns, share new learning and guidance.
We believe a happy workplace is essential and therefore we have practice away
days and yearly summer garden parties for our staff.
