Salaried GP - Maternity Cover

Job summary

We are a well established, patient centred focused and training based practice located in the city centre of Hereford. We have a patient list size of 12640 and CQC rating good. Currently, we have also been nominated for Herefordshire GP of the year following our successful win in 2023.

We are looking for a maternity cover GP for 5 sessions per week including on call, to join our busy but happy, motivated and supportive team from October 2024 for 9- 12 months.

Main duties of the job

The Practice follows BMA and model contract. Please refer to the attached advert for further duties and expectation of what the role will include.

• Large team of GP's (3 Partners, 3 Salaried) in addition to 2 Registrars, 4 ANP's, 1 Advanced Paramedic, 4 Nurses, 3 HCA's and various admin/ reception support roles along with ARRS roles via PCN
• Routine surgeries - 15 minute face to face appointments , home visits ( approx one per day) and designated admin time (max of 13 contacts per surgery)
• Strong training ethos, currently 2 GP Registrars in practice
• Monthly team meetings and Significant illness/events meetings/Palliative Care
• Daily 'coffee time' catch up
• 6 weeks annual leave and one week study leave pro rata
