Job summary
Practice Nurse - Approx13 hours per week
We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Practice Nurse. Your weekly hours will be approximately 13 hours per week over 2 days, Tuesday and Friday.
Applicants will be expected to work as part of our friendly Practice team and have good communication and interpersonal skills. Salary is dependant on experience and qualifications.

Main duties of the job
To
provide and maintain a high standard of nursing care for patients as well as
providing nursing assistance to the doctors and other members of the primary
healthcare team. The duties will include
all tasks normally undertaken by an experienced nurse and in addition any roles
agreed between the nurse and the doctors as appropriate, having regard to
current training
- Monitor
and assist with the management of long-term conditions, health promotion,
prevention and screening.
- To be
supported by the PN Team Leaders and to work within scope of own
competencies.
Work collaboratively with the Practice team and work
in accordance with the NMCs Code of Conduct

Our team has 8 Clinical Partners,1 Salaried GP and 2 long term locums who will support our patient list of around 16,000.
