An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Marisco Medical Practice as a Qualified Phlebotomist.
We aspire to offer exceptional care to our 14,500 patients and are innovative in our approach to developing new teams and pathways to ever improve how general practice is delivered.
We have a friendly and supportive team of more than 90 staff, with 5 GP's, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Practice Paramedic, Practice Nurses, Nursing Associates, Healthcare Assistants, Phlebotomist, Clinical Pharmacist, Counsellors and our range of administrative staff.
We are seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Nursing Team for 20 hours per week on a permanent basis.
The successful candidate will undertake an Enhanced DBS check and be subject to pre-employment checks.
A full clean driving licence is essential for this role.
Main duties of the job
To provide a safe, efficient phlebotomy service to patients in the surgery and on occasions, in the patients home.
Previous experience of phlebotomy is essential for this position.
Previous experience of SystmOne and Web V preferred.

We are a busy, supportive, friendly practice (14,500 patients) located on the East Coast of Lincolnshire over two sites, in Mablethorpe and Sutton-on-Sea, and are part of a Primary Care Network.
Our surgeries are purpose-built clinical buildings with well-equipped consulting and treatment rooms.
Our practice ethos is to provide high quality medical care in a professional, yet friendly, patient centred and compassionate manner to the people of Mablethorpe and the surrounding area.
We aim to provide primary care services that are responsive to the changing health needs of the community as informed by direct and indirect involvement with patient groups, individuals, other care giving organisations and official bodies.
The clinical team consists of GPs, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Pharmacist, Practice Nurses, Nurse Associates, Health Care Assistants, Phlebotomists and Councellors
Marisco is forward thinking and supports personal professional development whilst also being a training practice for universities, supporting Medical, Nursing and Nursing Associate students.
