Our successful, high achieving and innovative Surgery with a ANP/GP
Joint Partnership, is offering you the opportunity to work with us. We are
looking for someone who has experience
in coding, summarising and scanning in a GP Setting to join us working in a
busy general practice as part of our dedicated clinical team along with
friendly and supportive clinical and administrative staff. We have approximately 4600 patients.
This role is for 30 hours (Job Share considered) within the hours of
08:00 and 18:30 Monday to Friday. You
will be required to cover reception during busy periods and leave between 08:00
and 18:30. The successful candidate will
ideally have experience in NHS or General Practice in a similar role.
The practice is moving
towards becoming a paper-light environment, and the main responsibilities of
the post-holder will be to summarise and read code relevant information from
the patients medical records and/or from any incoming documents onto the
practices clinical system, working strictly in accordance with the practice
notes summarising protocol.
This is a busy and
interesting role and you will need to be quick thinking and diligent. Working with a great team of both clinical
and non-clinical staff we need you to be friendly and used to using your own
initiative as well as working closely with the team.

Ensure incoming letters are scanned onto the
patient record within a 48 hours
Scan all internal paper documents on to the
relevant patients record and then store the documents in line with surgery
procedures.
