Job summary

De Beauvoir Surgery based in City and Hackney (N1 5QT) with 13,000 patient list, requires Salaried GPs to provide 12-month maternity cover.

Main duties of the job

Fixed 12-month term.

Salary dependant on experience.

Clinics are a mix of telephone and face to face consultations

Medical indemnity reimbursement.

Access to the NHS Pension Scheme.

Minimum of six clinical sessions.

6 weeks holiday and 1 week study leave.

Friendly, young, and supportive clinical team.

Twice Weekly Clinical Practice meetings. Pan practice lunch meeting weekly

Option of additional work in Enhanced Access service paid at locum rates.

De Beauvoir Surgery based in City and Hackney is in a spacious, modern purpose-built premises with easy access public transport. A vibrant area close to Haggerston on the canal front with over 13,000 patients.

De Beauvoir is a established training practice with medical students, Trainee GP's, Trainee Nurse programmes, Physicians Associates trainees and many more.

Our mutli-skilled team consists of 7 GP's, 3 Nurses, 2 Health Care Assistants, in house pharmacy team, social prescribers, Midwife and Administration team.

Job responsibilities

    • Hold a valid GMC registration with a license to practice as a GP in the UK
    • Minimum of 6 clinical sessions per week.
    • Knowledge and experience using EMIS and Accurx.
    • Clinical admin included in day to day structure.
    • Maintain and keep up to date with mandatory training.
    • Ability to perform both clinical sessions and duty doctor.
    • Passionate about patient care, is a good team player and who is keen to develop and challenge themselves.
    • Support the practice training programme for new GP's and medical students.
    • Excellent support and guidance available from other GPs with open-door policy, weekly team meeting both clinical and Pan practice meetings.
    • Positive engagement and support of practice vision and ethos.
