Job summary
About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Nurse to become a
vital part of our healthcare team. This role involves working closely alongside
GPs, Advanced Nurse Practitioner, the Nursing Team, and administrative staff to
provide outstanding patient care. The successful candidate will demonstrate
strong clinical knowledge, effective communication abilities, and a proactive
approach to enhancing patient health and wellbeing. Ideally, we would like
someone with an interest in Diabetes Care, but training can be provided.
Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities:

Help manage chronic diseases- including diabetes, asthma, COPD, hypertension, and cardiovascular disease. A particular interest in diabetes would be advantageous.

Administer immunisations safely and efficiently.

Perform cervical smears, wound care, and various treatment room procedures.

Provide family planning advice and support tailored to patient needs.
-
Promote health initiatives such as smoking cessation and weight management programs.

Conduct routine health checks and patient reviews to monitor wellbeing.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records while following practice protocols.
What We Are Looking For:

Registered Nurse with the NMC, ideally with experience in a primary care setting.

Skilled in managing chronic conditions and proficient in treatment room procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Undertake cervical smears, wound care, and other treatment room procedures.
