the Role:
We
are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Practice Nurse to join our team.
This role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with our GPs, Advanced
Practitioners, and administrative staff to deliver exceptional care. The ideal
candidate will bring clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a
proactive attitude to improving health outcomes for our patients.
Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities:
Managing chronic disease clinics e.g. diabetes, asthma, hypertension.
Administering immunisations and vaccinations including flu and travel
vaccines.
Undertaking cervical smears, wound care, and other treatment room procedures.
Providing family planning advice and support.
Supporting health promotion initiatives, including smoking cessation and weight
management.
Conducting routine health checks and reviews.
Maintaining accurate patient records and adhering to practice protocols.
What
We Are Looking For:
NMC Registered Nurse preferably with experience in primary care.
Proficient in chronic disease management and treatment room procedures.
Strong commitment to patient-centred care and clinical excellence.
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Knowledge of SystmOne or similar systems desirable but not essential.
Evidence of continued professional development.
