Practice Nurse Vacancy - The Healthcare Centre
We are a 4 Partner GP Training practice in Preston delivering nursing services to a
population of approximately 13,000 patients. The team is looking to expand, so
we are seeking an experienced, motivated and enthusiastic Practice Nurse to
join our team.
The
applicant will need to be experienced and hold appropriate qualifications in
Chronic Disease Management, Cervical Cytology and Travel Immunisations. A
sexual health qualification would be advantageous.
Salary will
be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Job responsibilities
Job summary
The post holder is responsible for the delivery of basic practice nursing
services care to the practice population. Supported by senior nurses within the
practice, they will deliver care within the boundaries of their role, focusing
upon supporting patients to be healthy, monitoring of long-term conditions,
health prevention and screening activities. They will work collaboratively with
the general practice team to meet the needs of patients, supporting the
delivery of policy and procedures, and providing nurse leadership as required.
