Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity to welcome a Salaried GP to join our experienced and supportive practice for 4- 6 sessions per week (this is negotiable for the right candidate).
Our purpose-built practice is situated in the picturesque market town of Corsham on the edge of the Cotswolds, with easy access to the M4 and 9 miles from the City of Bath. We pride ourselves on providing high quality, patient-centred care with a strong team-working ethos.
We offer dedicated weekly admin time to each GP.
You will be supported by an experienced and dedicated Leadership and admin team.
We are a training practice with two educational supervisors.
The Practice benefits from a number of PCN staff that currently includes, First Contact Physiotherapists, a Clinical Pharmacy team and a developing Living Well Team that consists of Social Prescribers, Physician Associates who liaise with experienced Care Coordinators. Additional therapy roles are due to join our PCN over the next 12 months.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to welcome a permanent salaried GP to our primary care team. We are looking to recruit an experienced GP to work alongside our existing clinical team who carry out a mixture of home visits, telephone consultations and face to face surgery sessions.
We are a friendly, supportive, hardworking and innovative team who enjoy working together.
We have an excellent clinical skills mix of GPs and highly trained nurses who are supported by our leadership and administration team.
Duty Doctors are accessible throughout the day to offer advice and support.
We have regular Practice, clinical and CPD meetings that offer information, guidance and support to all staff in the team.
The successful candidate will provide care for the presenting patient from initial history, clinical assessment, diagnosis and treatment to the evaluation of care.
You will demonstrate safe clinical decision making and expert care working collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of patients.

post-holder will manage a caseload and deal with a wide range of health needs
in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all
registered and temporary patients.
Clinical
Responsibilities:
- In accordance
with the Practice timetable and as agreed with the successful candidate, the post-holder will make
him/her-self available to undertake a variety of duties including surgery
consultations, telephone consultations and queries, visiting patients at
home, checking and signing repeat prescriptions and dealing with queries,
paperwork and correspondence in a timely fashion
- Making professional,
autonomous decisions in relation to presenting problems, whether
self-referred or referred from other health professionals within the
organisation
- Assessing the
health care needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed
problems
- Screening patients
for disease risk factors and early signs of illness
- In consultation
with patients and in line with current practice disease management
protocols, developing care plans for health
- Providing
counselling and health education
- Admitting or
discharging patients to and from the caseload and referring to other health and care

issuing computer-generated acute and repeat prescriptions (avoiding
