We are looking for
enthusiastic, highly motivated and committed individuals, with the confidence
and skills to establish a quick rapport with patients. Ideally, candidates
should have previous experience in phlebotomy and general treatment room
duties. The role has potential to expand to include additional duties to
support the Practice Nursing team
The post holder will be required to
work across our 3 sites. The successful candidate(s) can be either full-time or
part-time however part-time workers are still required to undertake a full
working day.
Typical working Day is :- 8.00 am - 6.30 pm
Salary - starting pay will be dependent on experience

Main duties of the job
Working
under the direct supervision of the Nurse Team Lead and strictly in accordance
with specific practice guidelines and protocols, the healthcare assistant will
assist the practice clinical team in the provision and delivery of prescribed
programmes of patient care

Mental Health and Learning disability reviews
Diabetic foot examinations

Warfarin monitoring under supervision of NMP
Data entry in all Templates including INR Star.

Chaperoning duties
Processing and management of laboratory samples
requested by GPs/nurses
Vaccine/cold chain storage, monitoring and
recording
Surgical equipment and vaccine re-stocking and
stock rotation

equipment before, during and after patient care interventions, including
assisting GPs during the performance of minor operations
