The practice recently underwent a full refreshment program and extended capacity by adding 5 addtional consulating rooms at a cost of £800k.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will work as part of the clinical team, helping with the on the day service including telephone triage, face to face consultations and home visits as necessary.
They will provide patient care from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of care.
They will make referrals for investigations and to secondary care with GP support, whilst demonstrating safe, clinical decision making, acting within professional boundaries and qualifications.
Collaborative working with all clinical staff to effectively and efficiently meet the needs of patients will be essential.
About us
GMS practice with list size of appx 6,650 patients.
Team consists of 5 GPs, 3 nurses working alongside a growing PCN workforce which currently includes Pharmacists, Social Prescribers, First Contact Physiotherapist, Care Home Team, Paramedics and Mental Health Nurse.
Training and teaching practice with GP registrars (from Apr 2022) and medical students from UoN.
A comprehensive management structure.
We are rated as "Outstanding" by CQC. Re-affirmed in Late 2021.
