Job summary

This is a great opportunity to join our excellent and innovative team at Hall Green Health. We are looking for a highly skilled health professional to lead our team of allied health care professionals delivering same day urgent and planned care to our patients.

Acting within your professional boundaries, and working in conjunction with our clinical and non-clinical teams, you will provide care for patients from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of their care.

This is a challenging, fast-paced role and will encompass day to day line management of staff including supervision and mentoring, capacity planning, clinical development and process improvement activities. You will be comfortable working both autonomously and as part of a team.

Main duties of the job

Job summary:

The post holder will lead and support our team of multi-disciplinary staff providing same day urgent care advice and treatment for minor illness and injury to our patients via face to face, remote and home based consultations.

Work in conjunction with our Lead GP for Care Homes and PCN Care Home Care Co-ordinator to provide care for our care home residents including a weekly ward round.

You will be acting within your professional boundaries, providing care for patients from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of their care. You will demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care for patients within the general practice.

You will work with the multi-disciplinary general practice team to support the delivery of policy and procedures and meet the needs of patients. Mentorship and supervision will be provided by designated senior medical personnel. The level and type of supervision will be dependent on the post holders skills and knowledge and determined by the organisations clinical governance arrangements. You will follow recommended annual appraisals and continuing professional development.
