Job summary
As a GP with Affinity Care, you will be acting
within your professional boundaries to support our communities.
You will provide care for patients from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment
and evaluation of care. You will demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and
expert care, including assessment/diagnostic skills, for patients within
GP. You will work collaboratively with the Practice team
to meet patient needs, whilst supporting the delivery of policy and
procedures.
You will assess, diagnose, plan,
implement, and evaluate treatment/interventions and care for patients presenting
with an undifferentiated diagnosis, both physiologically and psychologically.
Sometimes you will be working with
chronic conditions, sometimes acute, but at all times you will be
providing the highest standard of patient care, with a supportive team around
you, driving the best possible outcome.
Main duties of the job
You will be a fully qualified and registered GP, having maintained your position on a performer's list, a member
of a recognised defence union (MPS/MDU) with a vocational training certificate
or equivalent.
You will work with our patients
to drive the best outcome, encouraging healthy lifestyles and positive self-care
in line with evidence-based practice, national/practice protocols, and
within the scope of practice.
You will abide by professional standards
as regulated by the GMC and relevant legislation, NSF and
NICE guidelines, and any other relevant bodies.
You will contribute to team discussions
and constructively challenge, helpingdevelop cohesive practice teams,
sharing best practice and innovation.
Undertake learning and communicate with
us about your needs and clinical interests; we want to build your capability
