Are you looking for a role where you can settle down, but with a supportive team around you?

We are looking for a keen and committed Reception Supervisor to join our friendly, supportive team. We are a practice of 3 partners working alongside a dynamic team of salaried GPs, Paramedics, nurses as well as our wider PCN attached team including pharmacists, paramedics and social prescribers to care for our young, diverse population of 11,000.

We would welcome interest from experienced receptionists or  someone who has previously held a supervisory role.

Main duties of the job

Job Summary:

To Supervise and lead the reception team daily.

Duties and Responsibilities

These duties are in addition to usual reception duties.

· Overseeing the reception rota

· Managing Reception holiday/sickness cover

· Keeping reception notice boards tidy and up to date

· Ensuring the reception area is fully stocked with stationery and equipment

· Keeping waiting area notice boards tidy and up to date

· Liaising with the Operations manager regarding maintenance issues and repairs

About us

We are a busy practice in High Wycombe with a varied patient demographic.

We work as a team and have a wide variety of cliinicians such as GP's Paramedics, Nurses, HCA's etc  We also have a large admin team to support the clinicians.

§ Book appointments and recalls, ensuring sufficient information is recorded to retrieve medical records.

§ Make future appointments and recalls according to agreed guidelines and protocols.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Computer Literate.

Desirable

  • GCSE grade A to C in English and Maths
  • Qualified to NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care
  • Knowledge of EMIS web
