Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a part-time qualified Nurse Associate to join our nursing team at Clifton Road Surgery. Shifts will be half day Wednesday and all day Thursday & Friday. Our Nurse Associate will be supported and mentored by our lead Practice Nurse, and Nurse Team Manager, and work as part of a multi-disciplinary team in a patient-facing environment.
You will be a registered Nursing Associate with the NMC and will have completed your foundation degree. The Nurse Associate will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to support the delivery of key priorities around prevention, tackling health inequalities and providing high quality patient centred care in line with the GMS Service requirements.
Main duties of the job
In line with best practice and with support from the MDT, you will carry out various procedures to monitor and improve the health of patients. You will work with our experienced nursing team to administer immunisations and vaccinations, cervical smear tests, ECGs, BPs, wound care / dressings and carry out Chronic Disease Management reviews delegated by a supervising Nurse or senior colleague, etc.
You will work in collaboration with a range of other professionals, including GPs, nurse practitioners, practice nurses, pharmacists, paramedics, physicians associates and other PCN services.

Clifton Road Surgery is situated within the centre of Rugby. Rugby is a thriving town with great schools, houses and transport links to London and the Midlands. We are a large high achieving practice responsible for approximately 15,000 patients. Our team consists of 5 Partner GPs, 3 salaried GPs, primary care practitioners, practice nurses, HCAs, plus a full team of admin support. We are part of Rugby Health PCN with ARRS staff embedded in practice. We are also an established training practice for GPST and have a strong training and mentoring ethos at the practice. We are a high QOF achieving practice and have a good reputation within Rugby.
