Job summary
Kilburn Park Medical Centre are looking to recruit additional salaried GPs to our Core Practice Team.
Competitive salary: based on experience and leadership possibilities
Contract based on BMA model.
- Approximately 8K patient cohort.
- 15 minute appointments (telephone consults / F2F)
- Flexible days and hours
- Hybrid working (on-site vs. remotely)
- 2 partners 2 salaried.
- 1 Clinical Supervisor 6 sessions a week
- Chronic Disease Management Lead
- Referral Management Lead by Operations Manager, which includes creating and sending referrals and weekly audits and recall.
- Pharmacist team handling prescriptions & drug monitoring and Docman workflow
- 2 weekly clinical meetings via Teams with time blocked off for all clinicians.

Main duties of the job
- To take clinical responsibility for registered patients and maintain appropriate records of treatment given and NHS services provided.
- Offer and carry out consultations and where appropriate, physical examinations for the purposes of identifying and reducing the risk of illness, disease or injury, including immediately necessary and temporary patients.
- In accordance with Practice timetable, as agreed, the post-holder will make him/herself available to undertake a variety of duties including surgery consultations, telephone consultations and queries, visiting patients at home, checking and signing repeat prescriptions and dealing with queries, paperwork and correspondence in a timely fashion.
- Provide core GMS work and services offered by the practice.
- Active participation and co-operation in the management arrangements of the practice and in the work of the primary healthcare team.
- Maintain appropriate levels and means of communication with other key stakeholders involved with patient care.
About us
We have a Practice Manager, Operations Manager, Reception Manager and a Workflow lead administrator. We also have a Chronic Disease Management Lead who deals with majority of QOF targets on behalf of all clinicians.
We actively encourage the pursuit of specialist clinical interests.

- Refer patients to other care providers as appropriate in a timely manner.
- The post-holder will be expected to undertake all the normal duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care.

Person Specification
Qualifications
Essential
- GMC registration with license to practice as a GP.
- NHS Performer's list registration.
- Not subject to suspension under section 41A of the Medical Act 1983.
- Qualified General Practitioner (completed certificate of Completion of Training CCT).
Desirable
- Full membership of a Medical Defence Union.
- MRCGP or equivalent
- Have had an annual NHS appraisal
Experience

- GP experience (can be discussed during interview)
- Commitment to delivery high quality, welcoming primary care service
Desirable
- Experience using EMIS Web and Docman.
