The primary purpose of this role is to work dynamically across the PCN. The role of the Project Support Officer covers a diverse range of activities to support the delivery of project priorities. You will enable the smooth running of projects by helping the team through the delivery of PCN actions and activities.
You must have experience in supporting the delivery of projects including the ability to engaging with multiple stakeholders demonstrating your excellent communication skills.
You must be detail focused with an eye to drive delivery of results for our projects.
The role holder must have a positive can-do approach, solve problems with limited guidance and have the confidence to propose and try new things. They must also be willing to work flexibly which includes working evenings and weekends during vaccination campaigns.
You will be primarily based out of Leap Valley Surgery in Emersons Green, Bristol. However, will be required to commute to different PCN sites using your own vehicle.
Whilst this is a fixed-term maternity cover post, the opportunity to extend the post to 18 months is likely.
Main duties of the job
- Delivery of PCN wide projects including twice yearly covid vaccination campaigns.
- Delivery of projects to tackle health inequalities.
- Ensuring performance against projects can be tracked.
- Tracking of project activity to ensure activity is undertaken as planned and progress is identified and highlighted if at risk.
- Supporting the delivery of projects agreed by the PCN.
- Taking responsibility for creating and motivating teams as appropriate.
- Working with stakeholders to ensure projects meet initiation requirements and ensuring project benefits are realised.
- Ensuring effective project communications in a timely and accurate manner.
- Take accountability and ownership of project deliverables and day to day management of project issues within area of responsibility.
