Phlebotomist / HCA (GP Practice)

Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Phlebotomist / HCA to provide additional phlebotomy (blood test) and NHS health check capacity to end of March 2025 based in new clinic rooms at the Coventry and North Warwickshire Cricket Club to meet increasing demand.

Candidates MUST be fully competent and experienced in phlebotomy and able to work to 8 minute appointments in a GP clinic setting.

Applications from candidates without up-to-date phlebotomy training and recent experience will be rejected.

Hours will initially be Monday, Thursday and Friday 8am-3pm (19.5hrs a week).

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will be responsible for running daily phlebotomy and NHS Health Check clinics, ensuring that all samples that require hospital analysis are correctly labelled, logged and have the necessary completed paperwork and are ready in time for collection by the courier.

Due to this role being at a satelite location it is essential that you can drive and have daily access to a car.
