Job summary
We are looking for a patient services manager to join our team working alongside our managing partner, practice operations manager and senior patient services manager.
We are ideally looking for a candidate who has experience managing staff and working in the public sector, particularly GP practices or similar sized organisations.
Main duties of the job
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee reception and clinical admin teams
- Develop and implement service strategies to meet patient needs and satisfaction
- Ensure timely and efficient delivery of service to patients
- Manage EMIS appointment books and coordinate staff rotas including annual leave
- Monitor service performance metrics and implement improvements as needed
- Handle patient queries, complaints, and escalations in a professional manner
- Train and mentor staff to ensure high-quality service delivery
- Coordinate agendas and organise regular team meetings
