Job summary
We are looking for a Newly Qualified GP
to support PCN staff and member Practices to deliver high quality care to
frail elderly people and residents in nursing and care homes. As the GP Care Home Lead, the postholder
job plan will include research, education and leadership responsibilities as
well as providing a full range of personal medical services to patients.
May suit portfolio working for more than one newly CCT'd GP.
GP's/Candidates cannot apply if one of the following applies to them:
1. You are a GP that has been substantively employed as a GP in general
practice previously.
2. You are a GP that is beyond the second anniversary of your certificate
of completion of training, issued by the General Medical Council.

Paramedic and Care Co-ordinators to provide support to patients who are care

Essential
- Full GMC Registration MBChB or equivalent
- UK permit or right to work in the United Kingdom
- GP Vocational or additional experience in general practice
- Commitment to professional development
- MRCGP
- Appropriate level of primary care experience
- Sound knowledge of clinical governance, including audit and care improvement activities
- Ability to understand and work in a politically sensitive environment MBBS or equivalent medical degree
- Full registration with GMC (including GP Register) Inclusion on National Performers List
- Eligibility for Medical Indemnity Membership
- Knowledge of the NHS
- Understanding the importance of evidence-based practice and clinical effectiveness
- Understanding of Clinical Governance and quality issues and health and social policy
- Ability to make good clear concise medical notes both computerised and manual
- Experience of Microsoft office applications
- Excellent interpersonal and communications kills
- Ability to demonstrate good written English and spoken skills
