Essential
- Undergraduate Degree in Paramedic Science
- Working towards or signed off formally within the clinical pillar competencies of the paramedic FCP and or AP roadmap to practice
- Maintain UK Registrations (Allied Health Professional / Independent Non-Medical Prescriber)
Desirable
- Urgent Care
- Long Term Conditions
- A prescribing qualification would also be desirable.
Experience
Essential
- Relevant clinical experience post-registration
- Recent secondary care, primary care or community experience
- Management of minor illness, minor ailments and injuries
- Clinical triage
- Compiling procedures and clinical guidelines
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Demonstrable experience of using diagnostic skills.
Desirable
- Project management
- Health needs assessment
- Experience in a primary care or community setting is desirable.

- Communication of difficult messages to patients and families
