Associate GP Vacancy
We are looking for a GP to join our team and support our increasing list size. We are a large inner-city practice working over 6 sites. We serve a diverse practice population and offer opportunities to expand skills in Telephone and Email Consultations, Intermediate Care, Specialist Weight Management, Homelessness and Student Health Services.
The Practice has an outstanding retention rate and offers excellent terms and conditions: Salary: 82,307.53 - 86,289.01 pro-rata depending on experience; Medical Defence Fees are paid by the Practice.

Job Title:Associate GP Post
Responsible To:Partners of Brownlow Health
Principle Purpose
To provide comprehensive medical services to the population of Brownlow Health. Be involved in a continual programme of learning and development within the practice, as discussed with the lead GP, with objectives set on a quarterly basis.
Duties
1.1At practice premises where delegated to provide general medical services to patients by way of surgeries, clinics and relevant administrative work together with such other duties as are required by the practice in providing services under the provision of the NHS (General Medical Services) Regulations 1992 as amended and which are reasonably delegated to you by the practice.
1.2Keep proper records of attendance, visits by and to any patients and all other such records as are reasonably required by the Principals.
1.3Preserve the confidentiality of the practice affairs of the Principals, of his Partners and all matters connected with the General Medical Practice.
1.4Work with the practice on projects which will deliver the objectives of the practice. This work will be guided and supervised by the lead GP.
1.5Attendance at regular meetings held within the practice, i.e. clinical, practice, partners, etc.
1.6Take part in a formal review of progress.
1.7Ensure that sufficient time is spent in appropriate education to allow continued development of the knowledge, skills and attitudes relevant to modern primary care.
1.8Support and encouragement of training of all staff within the practice.
1.9Maintain good communication with members of the Primary Health Care Team and external contacts i.e. CCG, University, etc.
1.9Provide late cover and home visits if required.
Hours of Employment
2.1In regards to a full time post, the salaried doctor shall agree to work 5 days per week generally between the core hours of 6.45 am 8.30 pm. Eight sessions will be clinical, 1 session on projects for practice development and 1 session for personal development. Part-time posts will be pro rata.
Hours of work may be changed due to the needs of the practice, in consultation with the post holder.

3.1The salaried doctor shall work between all the sites in the umbrella of Brownlow Health and at specified outreach clinics.
