Job summary

The post-holder will have delegated responsibility for overseeing the delivery, quality and smooth running of Network Services; preparing policies and protocols, ensuring the ongoing compliance. The post-holder will be instrumental in the uptake of the Covid-19 vaccine and will line manage Vaccination Site Managers.

Main duties of the job

Ensure that operational delivery of the Covid-19 Vaccination programme conforms with NHSE standard operating procedures, liaising with Clinical Directors as required

Respond to and report operational incidents

Create, introduce and manage business continuity and contingency plans; ensure appropriate training is carried out

Overall responsibility for ensuring that patients are called and recalled for vaccine appropriately, and according to JCVI and NHSE cohort prioritisation

Monitor vaccine uptake, and planning work to improve uptake where this is below target

Maintain a clinic schedule which responds to and addresses patient vaccine inequality and hesitancy, including ensuring that all CLPCN patients have equity in accessing vaccination appointments

Work with CLPCN Leadership team to implement new services

Ensure communication with internal and external stakeholders is effective

Monitor and audit use of services, providing regular reports to CLPCN Leadership team

Liaise with CLPCN Practices and develop an effective method of communication

Liaise with external stakeholders including community groups, LCCG and NHSE where appropriate
