Opportunity to join a small, loyal team working across two GP sites in the lovely towns of South Shields & Jarrow.
This role combines clinical skills alongside administrative. Please see job spec attached.
Main duties of the job
Providing a supportive role with patient reviews and signposting on to Practice Nurse further interaction, where necessary but also autonomous in a range of reviews suitable for a trained and skilled HCA. New to the role will be phlebotomy on site and also possible ECG testing, with results to a trained clinician to interpret. The role will be busy and interesting and will benefit from support with the surgery existing HCA.

3 Partners, 2 long-term locum GP's, Practice Manager, Assistant PM, ACP, NP, HCA, 2 x GPA, Administrator and 6 non-clinical. We have just shy of 6000 patients. We aim to give the best care and service possible to our patients. Staff opinion and suggestions are part of our regular interactions and meetings and we take on board work/life balance to make everyone's working day as pleasant as able.
We are a training practice, currently giving educational encouragement to an ST1, as well as involvement with student placements in medicine and pharmaceutical.
We are currently also recruiting for a Practice Nurse, to further compliment and extend our team, with 2 x locum PN's covering in the interim.
