Omnes Healthcare is looking for an experienced Business Development Lead who can help us drive new business into the company.

Main duties of the job

The role holder will be responsible for building a pipeline of opportunities and developing strong commercial relationships with Intermediary partners and securing new business in the health sector.

The post holder will work closely with the Business Development Director, Senior Leadership Team and other parties to continuously develop Omnes Healthcare’s business interests.

Please note these responsibilities will either be fulfilled personally or by effective delegation, and many will involve planning with the Business Development Director.

  • Manage a portfolio of intermediary accounts building commercially successful relationships with client contacts at all levels that deliver business targets.
  • Develop new relationships
  • Ensure high levels of market visibility through field activity both through broker and prospect channels
  • Clearly and concisely articulate our value proposition in the market
  • Develop a clear and commercially focussed sales value pipeline focussing on growth in line with our strategy to deliver products and services
  • Support the development and implementation of short and long term (3- 5 year) plans with prioritised outcomes that meet customer needs and deliver engagement and loyalty
  • Continually identify opportunities to strengthen and optimise processes aligned to the customer journey
  • Ensure legal and regulatory compliance adheres to our Corporate policies, and to internal

    Role Requirements

    • Graduate level with relevant qualifications.
    • Demonstrable ability to write effective, concise and compelling content while under the pressure sometimes associated with deadlines.
    • Experience of healthcare advantageous
    • Significant experience and proven ability to lead and secure new contracts within the health care sector.
    • Proven experience of building and maintaining strong, long lasting customer relationships and maximising business opportunities.
    • Strong determined communicator and negotiator with experience of senior level selling, persuasion and negotiation
    • In depth knowledge of successfully increasing revenue, profits and growth within Intermediary market regulated environment such as the healthcare market.
    • Track record of ‘treating customers fairly' and delivering compliant sales within a regulatory environment is key.
    • Resilience and confidence in own and our ability to succeed
    • Acts ethically and honestly in all dealing with customers and colleagues building compliance, authenticity and trust.
