Role Overview:As an ENT Consultant, you will be at the forefront of providing outstanding outpatient care, covering a wide range of routine ENT conditions, including paediatric care. You will work autonomously within a community setting while collaborating with a team of professionals to ensure efficient service delivery.
You will report directly to the Service Manager (Operations) and work closely with the ENT Lead to manage all aspects of the ENT service, aligned with our objectives and goals. The role also involves driving improvements in patient pathways, service efficiency, and overall performance, including financial management. We encourage innovation and creativity to optimize workflows and reduce operational costs.
Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality outpatient care for routine ENT conditions, including paediatric cases
- Work autonomously and support the growing demand in our Consultant-Led Community ENT Clinic
- Manage ENT service delivery, in partnership with the ENT Lead and Service Manager (Operations)
- Contribute to the efficiency of the ENT service by streamlining patient pathways and driving best practices in service delivery
- Lead initiatives to improve performance, reduce costs, and motivate staff for maximum efficiency
What We’re Looking for: - Fully registered with the GMC
- Completion of the Intercollegiate Speciality Examination or overseas equivalent FRCS (ORL-HNS)
- Fully trained GPwSI in ENT
