Job summary

The working hours are full time 37.5 hr per week, shift's will be between the hours of 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday, with some weekend working on a rota basis, onsite in Manchester, M3 5NA, training and induction will be given.

Shift Pattern – 8am - 4.30pm, 9am - 5.30pm, 9.30am – 6pm, you must be available to work any of these shift patterns on a rota basis

Main duties of the job

This is an extremely important position within our business as you will be the first point of contact for our patients, dealing with the inbound and outbound patient calls, providing a high-quality, professional and efficient customer service to our patients at all times, you must work with autonomy and a high degree of confidentiality, sensitivity, discretion, empathy and tact.

You will be responsible for accurately registering patients, assisting with enquiries regarding appointments from patients and referring GP’s, agreeing appointment dates and times with patients over the telephone and sending out appointment letters in a prompt and efficient manner, so attention to detail is vital.

You will also be responsible for reminding patients of the times and dates of their appointments via telephone, tracking cancellations of appointments and to offering vacant slots to other patients on the waiting list so that we can deliver the best care and full range of NHS Services.
