Job summary

We are seeking a Healthcare Assistant to join our Secondary Care Services based in our dermatology clinic, assisting the Dermatologists.

Clinic Locations available

  • East Lancashire
  • Blackburn with Darwen
  • Morecambe Bay,
  • Chorley 
  • Greater Preston
  • Blackpool
  • Fylde & Wyre
  • West Lancashire

Previous Hospital Healthcare experience desirable, but not essential, as we offer full training for the right candidate, all we ask is that you are reliable, professional, able to work independently, can commit to the working locations/hours and have excellent computer skills.

  • You will be working within our Dermatology Services based in our Enfield Clinic, you will be trained to assist the Doctors
  • This is a Full Time role working 40 hours per week, over 5 days, this can include some weekends.
  • You will never be required to more than your allocated 40 hours per week unless you request to work overtime.
  • Shifts can start from 8am and finish no later than 8pm.

  • Undertaking procedures such as blood pressure and new patient checks
  • Ordering supplies and equipment
  • Sterilisation of equipment
  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills
  • Basic computer experience
