Job summary
We are looking to appoint a hard-working and enthusiastic practice nurse to join our established nursing team consisting of five practice nurses, one nurse associate, one assistant practitioner and one health care assistant.
The position is for a minimum of 30 hours per week, but we would consider full time for the right person.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with enthusiasm to join our valued and friendly team.
Main duties of the job
Your role will involve working in collaboration with the team in several clinical areas such as chronic disease management, health promotion and screening, immunisations and womens health, infection prevention and control, as well as supporting the management team in the reviewing of clinical policies and procedures.
Good data input skills and IT knowledge are essential.

The Castle Medical Group is a vibrant, friendly, semi-rural practice based in the market town of Clitheroe in the beautiful Ribble Valley. We are a dispensing and teaching practice judged outstanding since January 2016 by the CQC and consistently achieve maximum QOF points.
Our list of 15,400 patients is cared for by five GP partners, six salaried GPs, four ANPs and a nursing team of eight, supported by our admin and reception teams.
Our practice is one of four in the Ribbledale Primary Care Network which supports a total population of 42,500 patients. We have an excellent working relationship with our neighbouring PCN colleagues and employ additional staff across the practices such as first contact physiotherapists, a mental health worker, clinical pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, paramedics, and social prescribers.
