Parcliffe Medical Centre has an amazing opportunity to join the team as our Practice Manager.
Within this role, the Practice Manager will be responsible for the management of the day to day operations involved in the running of a busy GP Practice, including staff management, patient engagement, health & safety, IT and compliance.
We would be looking to cover full time hours for this post ideally to be worked over 4/5 days.

Main duties of the job
We are looking to enhance our current
management team, which has created the opportunity for the role of Practice
Manager. The Practice Manager will take responsibility for all aspects of
management pertaining to the day to day running of the Practice, allowing the
Business Manager to focus on more strategic management, and would join the
leadership team of the Practice for which also includes our GP Partnership,
Clinical Lead Nurse & Clinical Pharmacist.
The Practice Manager will report directly to
and be supported by our Business Manager, and accountable collectively to the
GP Partnership.
We
have a growing patient population of around 12,100 patients and cover a
demographically diverse population.
Ideally,
we would be looking to recruit a Practice Manager with extensive managerial experience,
particularly in areas of HR, Health & Safety, IT, Governance &
Operational management.
You
would work closely with the Business Manager to develop the effective and
efficient day to day running of services and access for our patients, alongside
the management of our Practice Team. You
would be part of the leadership team within the Practice of which also includes
our GP Partnership, Clinical Lead Nurse and Clinical Pharmacist.
The
role looks to build on the current foundations for access, service development,
patient experience, staff development and compliance in the various areas of
Primary Care that we currently must evidence and meet.

Partnership (5 GPs).

purpose-built premises inside St Annes Health Centre, with a current patient
population of around 12,100 patients.
Located
in the seaside town of St Annes along the Fylde Coast, we are minutes away
from the sea front, with direct links to the M55 & M6.
We
are a friendly, professional, caring team who are passionate about providing
safe and effective care to our patient population. Our excellent multi-skilled
Clinical Team comprises of 8 GPs (Partner & Salaried), Clinical Pharmacist,
Physicians Associates, Clinical Lead Nurse, Practice Nurses & Healthcare
Assistants.
Supporting
our Partnership, clinical team and the patient journey through the Practice,
our team also includes a Business Manager, Patient Advisers, Receptionists, Administrators,
Secretaries and Medicines Management Team.
Parcliffe
Medical Centre is a consistently high performer in relation to its contractual
obligations including QOF and Quality Contract services.
As
active members of the Lytham St Annes Primary Care Network, the Practices also
have access to shared services and resources including Social Prescribers, a
Pharmacy Team, Mental Health Practitioner, First Contact Physio as well as a
fully complimented Care Home Team.
