Job summary
Our Operations team are looking for a full-time Receptionist, to work in our London clinic. You will provide a high quality, professional reception and administrative service to patients, doctors, staff, colleagues, health service professionals and others.
You will act as the first point of contact for patients contacting the Practice and to portray the Practice in the highest possible professional basis. To ensure that enquiries from patients are efficiently and courteously handled to the mutual satisfaction of the partners and patients.
Main duties of the job
- To identify risks and implement and drive change where identified.
- To be a resource for specialist advice and information across the organisation, giving advice to multi disciplines on the clinical management of patients.
- To engage with and maintain good relationships with relevant stakeholders and to represent the diabetic service at clinical, professional and management meetings as relevant.
- To ensure that diabetes care is delivered in a timely, professional manner whilst addressing any health inequality issues that may affect access to care.
- To work with marketing and relevant stakeholders to increase patient engagement
- To work with the Personalised care team to facilitate and run Virtual Group consultations and ensure patients have access to structured education programmes and REWIND as appropriate.
- Undertake clinical supervision , education and training of nursing colleagues on an individual or group basis.
- Attend regular proactive care meetings and report on progress and achievements for diabetes throughout the QOF year.
