have an exciting opportunity for a practice Nurse to join our team. We are a friendly, patient focused, team orientated practice situated in North Manchester,
serving 8000 patients. We provide patient focused primary care services. We are
looking for an experienced practice Nurse that can work autonomously as well as
being a team player and someone who can support the delivery of policies and
procedures within practice. The Practice
facilitates employees within all different levels of their careers, these
include trainee advanced care practitioners, GP Assistants, Physician

- Ability to communicate effectively within the primary care team and to maintain clear and effective records of patient contacts.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and also under own initiative with minimal supervision.
- Ability to empathise and reassure.
- Ability to critically evaluate clinical information and make sound clinical judgements/recommendations within the scope of the role.
- Ability to organise and prioritise the workload, especially in respect of domiciliary work.
- The post-holder must be able to meet the physical and clinical technical demands of the job description.
- Ability to work within approved clinical guidelines and protocols and an awareness of when to refer patients for further clinical assessment.
- The post-holder should be able to contribute constructively to relevant policy developments within the practice.
- Ability to initiate and participate in clinical audits.
- Ability to cope with distressing or emotional situations.
Desirable
- Prior experience of working within general practice is desired.
- Experience of monitoring and advising patients with chronic disease.
- Experience of the core clinical technical procedures that are required by the job description.
