Paddock and Longwood Family Practice are looking for a full time Medical Secretary who are motivated to making a positive contribution of high quality healthcare in our practice and who can work well in a small team.
We are looking for a medical secretary who can also work indepenantly and support our clinicians with processing patient referrals, utilising local referral pathways as appropriate
We are seeking an individual who is passionate about the patient's journey and can deliver a quality service. Have good communication, both verbally and written, interpersonal skills and robust IT skills

We are a very friendly practice, situated in Paddock, Huddersfield. We strive to provide the highest standard of Health Care to the whole of our practice population of 9,000 patients
We have 4 partners, ! Practice Nurse , 1 Nursing Associate, I Health Care Assistant. 2 regular locums and have a non clinical team of 11
We are very much involved with our Primary Care Network (PCN) . One of our partners is the clinical lead and the PCN manager if based at Speedwell. We work closely with local member practices . Our wider team also comprise of practice Pharmacists, social prescribers and Mental Health Workers.
We are a training practice with 8 GP Registrars and also support 3rd Year Medical Students for 9 months of the year.
We are happy to support and develop the right person in their role.
