We are a
busy and forward-thinking GP Practice and Primary Care Network based in
Ashford, Kent, operating across three sites and employing around 120 dedicated
staff. We provide high-quality care to our local community and are seeking an
experienced and proactive HR Lead to join our leadership team.

About the role
This is a full-time position, primarily based at one of our sites, with regular travel to our other two locations. Reporting to thePractice Manager / Deputy General Manager, you will assist with the delivery of a comprehensive HR service that supports the effective management, engagement, and development of our workforce.

We are a friendly, proactive and forward-thinking practice. We run our own independent PCN. As part of our recent growth, we are looking to recruit further staff members to complement our existing team.
The current workforce is led by 6 GP Partners, supported by a large clinical and non-clinical team.

Key
responsibilities:
- Lead
the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding (induction),
performance management, and exit processes.
- Ensure
HR policies are up-to-date and regularly reviewed.
- Provide
HR advice and guidance to managers and staff on employment policies, procedures
and best practice.
- Support
workforce planning initiatives.
- Oversee
employee relations matters, ensuring timely, fair, and legally compliant
resolutions.
- Ensure
HR records, systems, and data are accurate, up-to-date and CQC and GDPR-compliant.
- Coordinate
appraisals and probationary review meetings liaise with team leaders.
- Assist
with return-to-work reviews.
- Ensure
mandatory training is up-to-date.
- Assist
with payroll preparation with the finance team.
- Maintain
adequate records of staff absences.
- Contribute
to creating a positive, supportive, and high-performing work culture.
- To
attend appropriate HR minutes and take minutes where required

- Proven
HR leadership, coordination or management experience.
- Knowledge
of UK employment law and HR best practice.
- Excellent
interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills.
- Ability
to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Competent
IT skills, including HR systems and Microsoft Office.
