The
Coppice and Angemerning Medical Centre is looking to recruit committed, caring
and highly motivated Advanced Nurse (ANP) or Advanced Paramedic Practitioner(s)
(APP) to join our friendly and well-established Medical Practice.

This is a permanent position
either full time or part time, hours can be discussed at interview. This role

Main duties of the job
As an
ANP / APP, you will be central to the success of the Practice and will be
responsible for triaging, assessing, diagnosing, treating and discharging
patients autonomously every day. You will be supported by and work with, a
diverse multi-skilled professional team of clinical and non-clinical friendly
staff, providing high quality, person-centred, holistic care to patients
registered with us. As well as ordering investigations and interpreting
results, you will be responsible for providing an excellent standard of patient
care and health promotion. You will also be involved in leadership activities,
improving service provision, redesigning services and advanced audit
activities, as well as liaising with the clinical and non-clinical teams.
You will ideally have experience of primary care and must be confident
working autonomously and independently within your professional boundaries and
as part of a team whilst carrying out clinical assessment, triage and
consultations, providing diagnosis, treatment, evaluation of care and
prescribing.

are a friendly team working from two practice sites in a beautiful, semi -
rural setting on the edge of the outstanding South Downs National Park in West
Sussex.
We
are a well established practice with a strong record and history of training,
development and support for our team. Our multidisciplinary clinical team which
includes General Practitioners, Consultant Practitioner, Practice Nurses, ANPs,
APPs, Health Care Assistants, Clinical Pharmacists, Physiotherapist,
Occupational Therapist and a large team of Administrative and Reception Staff who
support the day to day function of the practice. We prioritise high
quality patient care and team work, whilst ensuring manageable workloads and
offering flexible working patterns, personal development and education.

Essential
- 1st level Registered Nurse with current registration with the UK Nursing Midwifery Council (NMC) or 1st level Registered Paramedic with the UK Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Independent Prescriber.
- Health Education England's Centre for Advanced Practices title of Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) or who would be able to be actively completing the e-portfolio (supported) route to achieve that title (with no further academic study required but with all the support from us as needed.)
- Evidence of Continuous Professional development (CPD).
Desirable
- Other relevant Primary care related qualifications

- Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team.
