Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a Physician Associate to join Grove Park Surgery in Chiswick and are looking to recruit an experienced or newly qualified Physician Associate.
We have been a training practice for GP's for many years and the successful applicant will work closely with (and under the supervision of) a GP partner.
The role will offer you the opportunity to build on your experience of working effectively within a healthcare team as well as developing positive new working relationships.
The successful candidate is required to have completed the Physician Associate Postgraduate Diploma/Masters from an accredited UK university and will be registered with the Physician Associate Managed Voluntary Register (PAMVR) held by the Faculty of Physician Associates (FPA).

Main duties of the job
The PA will be responsible for the provision of a clinical service, working as part of the practice team, delivering care within their scope of practice to the entitled patient population. The PA will be required to work autonomously in the practice, providing a range of services such as assessment, diagnosis, treatment, telephone triage, clinical decision-making and referring patients appropriately, as well as supporting the management team in the reviewing of clinical policy and procedure when required.

- Providing direct clinical care for patients including clinical assessments, diagnosis and treatment under the supervision of a GP.
- Interviewing patients, taking medical histories, performing physical examinations, analysing, diagnosing and explain medical problems.

- Consulting and referring patients to physicians, medical specialists and other health professionals as indicated.
- Recommending and explaining appropriate diagnostic tests and treatments.
