Job summary
We are looking for a positive, enthusiastic resilient individual to join our team.We embrace technology to enable more effective and efficient ways of working.We operate a digital remote triage, via EConsult designed to help as many patients as possible to see the most appropriate clinician in the correct timescale.
This role is to assess patients that have been triaged by one of our senior GPs and would suit skills of a Paramedic, Advanced Clinical Practitioner or Advanced Nurse Practitioner.
The post is based over 2 General Practice Sites across Monday to Friday.
Main duties of the job
To undertake assessment for patients attending the surgery or within the community. Obtaining thorough history, using diagnostic skills and initiation of investigations where appropriate.

Managing clinics of patients wishing to see a health care professional. Diagnosing and treating patients, under the supervision of a senior GP,making the necessary referrals to other members of the primary health care.
Ensure clinical practice is safe, effective and remains within boundaries of competence and to acknowledge limitations. Ensure that personal and professional clinical standards are maintained.
To impart knowledge and skills to colleagues promoting peer review and best practice within the work environment.
To maintain accurate healthcare records appropriate to consultations.
Work with local policies and procedures.
To achieve and demonstrate agreed standards of personal and professional development in order to meet the needs of the service.
To participate in the audit process, evaluation and implementing plans and practice change in order to meet patient need.
