Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Nurse Practitioner / Minor Illness Nurse (Prescriber) to join our friendly, supportive and dedicated team.

We are looking for someone who is dynamic, motivated and a flexible team player to join our Practice.

Main duties of the job

To be responsible for a number of clinical areas including triage, manage & treat minor illness, support the team in dealing with medical emergencies, prescribe in a safe and effective manner (please see job description)

About us

We are a small, friendly rural Practice situated in a beautiful village.

We are a very busy Practice and the health and well-being of our patients is our main priority.

There is a lot of expertise and knowledge within our Clinical team which consists of GPs, GP Trainees, Nurse Practitioners, Practice Nurses and a HCSW.

In addition, we have a caring and helpful Patient Navigation / Reception team, a Dispensary team that provides excellent patient services and an efficient Administrative Department.

  • Independent Nurse Prescriber.

Desirable

  • Post graduate diploma or degree (Nurse Practitioner).

Experience

  • Experience of working in a primary care environment.
  • Experience of working autonomously.

Desirable

  • Experience of working as a Nurse Practitioner / Minor Illness Nurse.
