Job summary
We are looking to recruit experienced Emergency Care Practitioners to join our On-The-Day-Team; our On-The-Day-Team currently consists of GPs, Nurse Practitioners and a Clinical Pharmacist. We are a successful busy group on the Devon/Cornwall border serving 25,000 patients.
We are a training group and offer development for our staff including external and internal training opportunities. We use the SystmOne clinical system and are committed to providing high quality health care to our rural population.
Please note, interviews for this position are scheduled to take place virtually over Microsoft Teams in the weeks commencing 1st February and/or 8th February 2021.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate must be able to work well within a team environment and will have experience of seeing and treating minor illnesses. Training will be offered to the right candidate. As well as On-The-Day-Team duties, there will be occasional home visiting duties as required by the group.

with post graduate qualifications relevant to the position, who acting within
their professional boundaries, will provide care for the presenting patient
from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and

collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary general practice team to meet the

- Demonstrable experience post qualification years, post registration experience working within an emergency/urgent care
- Evidence of practice as a qualified ECP
- Experience of providing emergency care, and an understanding of the care pathways.
- Experience of working in a multi-disciplinary team
- Experience of developing relationships with external agencies and organisations
- Experience of working across organisational boundaries within health or social care
- Evidence of continuing professional development.
