We are
currently recruiting for a new role to take the lead
in Compliance and Quality at Compass House. The individual will need a solid
understanding of compliance and quality standards, be proactive, curious to
learn, organised, responsive to feedback, and able to work independently to
improve and streamline our processes in relation to Compliance and Quality.

The role is

Main duties of the job
The
post-holder will work closely with the Management Partner, and under the
direction of the Operations Manager to improve and maintain standards across a
wide range of clinical and administrative activity relating to Compliance, Facilities and
Quality.

We are based in a purpose-built Practice overlooking the sea in the fishing town of Brixham, with a growing list size of 15,000+ patients. You will be joining an expanding, supportive and friendly multi-disciplined team, which includes GPs, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Pharmacists, Nursing team, Care Coordinators and Social Prescribers. We also have a branch site in the neighbouring village of Galmpton and in a newly refurbished wing at Brixham Hospital.
Our Clinical Pharmacy Team manages medication changes, queries, and reviews, along with repeat prescriptions. Our Care Coordinators are highly skilled and have streamlined many processes to reduce GP workloads. Our Visiting ANPs carry out most home visits, and we have a highly experienced Nursing Team consisting of RGNs, Nursing Associates, APs, GPAs, HCAs, and Phlebotomists who run our Chronic Disease Clinics.
As a Training Surgery, we help to educate the Doctors of tomorrow with Medical Students ranging from Year 2 to GP Registrars. We are also part of the Southwest Clinical Research Network and currently involved with several studies.
Working collaboratively with two other Torbay Surgeries, we form part of the Baywide PCN, alongside working with GP Surgeries in the wider Bay area as part of Torbay General Practice, providing additional services such as Improved Accessed Clinics, and the COVID vaccination programme.

- Knowledge and experience of employment law, health & safety legislation, risk assessment.
- Excellent project management skills and the ability to be methodical and diligent.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make critical decisions with little information available.
- Previous experience in an analytical role, with the ability to analyse and interpret information quickly and produce reports.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating autonomy and initiative as required.
