Job summary
This is an
exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed newly qualified GP
(within 2 years to join Riverview Health Centre on a fixed term, salaried GP
contract, with an immediate start date of January 2025 until the 31st
March 2025).
We are based
in a purpose-built modern practice close to the City Centre within easy reach
of train, metro, and bus links. We use Emis Web clinical system and have
friendly patients who present with interesting and often challenging health
problems, no day is the same and this is an opportunity to practice real
medicine at a high standard.
Sessions are
capped at a maximum of 25 patient contacts per day, working closely with our
Advanced Nurse Practitioners and supportive GPs to deliver high quality of care
within a practice with very low home visit requests.
Main duties of the job
As a salaried GP, your will play a crucial role in the provision
of primary healthcare services.
Undertake surgery consultations including face-to-face, online
& telephone.
The delivery of highly effective medical care to the entitled
population.
The provision of services commensurate with the primary care
contract.
Generic prescribing adhering to local and national guidance.
Effective management of long-term conditions.
Processing of administration in a timely manner, including
referrals, repeat prescription requests and other associated administrative
tasks. Maintain accurate clinical
records in conjunction with good practice, policy, and guidance.
Working collaboratively, accepting an equal share of the
practice workload.
Adhere to best practice recommended through clinical guidelines
and the audit process.

- Evidence of ongoing professional development.

- Experience of QOF and clinical audit.
