Job summary

Are you looking for a fulfilling career in the beautiful Derbyshire countryside? Crich Medical Practice is excited to announce we are recruiting a salaried GP to join our friendly and stable team. This position is available to replace our retiring partner and offers 6 sessions per week. General Practitioners participating in the national GP retention scheme considered.

Main duties of the job

As a Salaried GP, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to our patients. Your role will involve a wide range of clinical and non-clinical responsibilities, ensuring the delivery of high-quality healthcare services.

About us

About Crich Medical Practice:

Located on the edge of the Derbyshire Dales, our practice is only 8 miles away from the M1 motorway.

We serve a semi-rural population of around 8000 people across three sites, including a purpose-built surgery in Crich and two smaller branches (South Wingfield and Holloway) with dispensaries.

As a training practice, we are committed to supporting the professional development of our team members.

Our routine surgeries consist of 13 patients, ensuring a manageable workload.

We have embraced technology with our paper light SystmOne practice, integrated Ardens Templates, and the use of Accurx.

Collaborate closely with ARCH PCN, providing access to clinical pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and First Contact Physio.

As a Salaried GP, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to our patients. Your role will involve a wide range of clinical and non-clinical responsibilities, ensuring the delivery of high-quality healthcare services. Below are the key aspects of the job description:

Clinical Responsibilities:

- Provide primary medical care to patients, including consultations, examinations, and diagnosis.
