Job summary
We are looking for an experienced Practice Nurse. This is a permanent position, we had previously advertised for Maternity cover and a fixed term contract, but patient demand is such that we are now offering a permanent ongoing opportunity to join our established team of Nurses & HCAs headed up by our Nurse Manager. We are looking for 3 to 4 days a week, so anywhere from 23 to 32 hours.

qualification (and active NMC pin), good organisational and communication
skills and a desire for continued professional development. Basic IT skills are
a must.
Desirable: Previous primary care
experience to include chronic disease management, wound care, doppler and leg
ulcer management using compression therapies, childhood vaccinations, cervical
cytology, family planning, health promotion, phlebotomy. We would consider
RGN's wishing to move into primary care and full training would be given to the
successful candidate. We would also be interested in hearing from Nurse
Prescriber's who have chronic disease management experience.
Salary: Starting £17.95 to
£19.95 per hour, dependant on experience.
Hours: Part-time hours, days to
be agreed. The Practice operates from 2 sites in the Harrogate area and the
applicant must be able to work from both sites.
