Here at Billinghay Medical Practice, we have an exciting opportunity for a Salaried GP to join the team. We are looking for the right candidate to work 4-8 sessions a week alongside the 2 GP Partners and the Advanced Nurse Practitioners.
We are a forward thinking Practice, always putting patient medical care at the forefront of every decision. We are routinely in the top 10 for patient satisfaction in Lincolnshire.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for an autonomous practitioner, responsible for
the provision of medical services to the practice population, delivering an
excellent standard of clinical care. Furthermore, the post-holder will adhere
to the GMC standards for good medical practice, contributing to the effective
teamwork of the practice, leading by example, maintaining a positive,
collaborative working relationship with the multidisciplinary team.
The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic, flexible team
player with the drive to develop specialist interests which will complement the
Practice vision and development. Eligibility to work in the UK, full GMC
registration, placement on the National Performers List and membership of a
recognised medical indemnity organisation are essential conditions of
employment. You will be expected to hold a full UK driving licence and have
access to a vehicle.

Billinghay
Medical Practice is a rural and caring practice which provides a range of
services for the 4,900 patients who are registered with us.
We have a skilled and experienced team comprising of 2 GP
Partners, 3 Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Clinical Care Co-ordinator and an
excellent nursing team. Alongside these we have a highly motivated and competent Reception/
Administration team and Dispensary team.
We strive to ensure every patient receives excellent medical
service from all members of staff within the Practice. We treat all patients

The delivery of highly effective medical care to the entitled
population
Review and complete all assigned AskMyGP requests
Generic prescribing adhering to local and national guidance
Processing of administration in a timely manner, including
referrals, repeat prescription requests and other associated administrative
tasks
Carry out on call duties, 1 day per week.
Maintain accurate clinical records in conjunction with good
practice, policy and guidance
Working collaboratively, accepting an equal share of the
Practice workload
Adhere to best practice recommended through clinical guidelines
and the audit process
Contribute to the successful implementation of continuous
improvement and quality initiatives within the Practice
Ensure compliance with the appraisal process
Prepare and complete the revalidation process
Review and adhere to Practice protocols and policies at all
times
