We have an exciting opportunity at the Market Harborough Medical
Centre for a Practice Nurse to join or large Clinical team. This is an
exciting new opportunity to join a busy, highly regarded, supportive and
forward-thinking GP training practice.

You are expected to actively work toward developing and maintaining effective
working relationships within our Practices.
The purpose of this post is the delivery of high quality primary care nursing services to the practice population. You will work with practice policies, protocols and guidelines whilst using experience and clinical judgement to provide nurse interventions and care.
Main duties of the job
Previous experience within a primary care setting would be
an advantage, although full training will be given to a suitable applicant/s.
Have experience within diabetes clinics
Working within the NMC code the post holder will deliver care that is evidence based and cost effective.
To be responsive to patients needs and contribute to improving quality standards.
Work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary general practice team to meet the needs of the patients.

Centre is in the centre of a busy market town and is one of three practices
including St Lukes and Husbands Bosworth. We have a large list size of patients
with a team of Partners and Salaried GPs. We have an experienced Nursing Team,
and a variety of additional roles including Physicians Associates. We have a
very active and engaged PPG.
